How long did you have to wait for your factory 2022 order/request/whatever it is called?

I’ve noticed that the VINs that are on hold are trucks from both the San Diego and the Guanajuato plants. So it does appear to be ALL Tacomas. And it looks like it started with VINs that were built around the last week in January. Doesn't help us get our trucks any faster, but a bit more info at least.

Toyota app seems a little glitchy to me. When I did it about a week ago it showed nothing, then it was showing more information a couple days ago where on the front page it would show odometer and gas level and tire pressures under vehicle status. Now the only place I get mileage is under the vehicle health report, the front page says N/A under mileage and tire pressures the same. I don’t know if the vehicle doesn’t physically move that the app can’t figure it out.

 

ah gotcha I’ll just keep checking mine shows no information at all no pressures, gas ,or milage. If its a moving thing then yeah that could be it since it’s on hold status it’s prob just sitting somewhere

ya, mine showed nothing until 2/22/23 apparently. not sure it'll help be any indication of when the hold will released, though, but was interesting to see something being updated since everything else is in the dark.

do we know if any VINs built after the last week of January are being shipped out like normal?

Hm, it says railcar is 801078, but when I call to CSX they ask for the car initials (letters, not numbers). Any ideas where to get these initials?
DCH Freehold gives me only estimated arrival dates which keeps changing every day. You give me much more information, at least I know now that my Tundra is in NJ. Thank you!

TRD OR 6MT Ice Cap. Build date was supposed to be 2/06. Been trying to use the Toyota tracker website. It popped up once and then has disappeared from Toyota's inventory website.

 

It’s mostly likely on hold. It seems the VINs disappear from Toyota’s API when they go on hold.

 

I’m not sure what the latest build dates are that on hold. Mine was built 1/31 and is on hold.

 

Mine was 1/23 and is on hold(last i knew). Though it also appears to be on the move via boat.

 

It does seem like they keep moving while they are on hold. Mine was in the middle of rail transit when it was placed on hold on 2/17. It arrived to the Princeton, IN Toyota logistics center yesterday. It’s still on hold so I’m assuming they will do what ever they have to do to clear the hold at that facility.
