Door panels with red accent

Looking to see if anyone wants to trade for my door panels with the red accents. No they won’t grow on me no I won’t learn to like them no I’m not going to dye them no no no.

They were a total surprise when my ordered truck came in. Apparently it’s something they just do at the factory. Also have different wheels than most other SR5s out there. The dealer was in a shitstorm as I wasn’t really digging the panels and he thought I was going to bail. I ended up getting the truck for exactly 1200 under sticker out the door after taxes tags title and fees. So I can’t complain just swap ( ex wife said that)

They are 3 months old. I’ll take black, brown, hell I’ll even take the grey. I’m in Virginia. Will be headed to Wyoming and Montana in early spring. 2022 DCSB here.

Edit: Will be in Cheyenne WY on the 12th of October. If you’re anywhere along 64 from VA to St. Louis or 70 from St. Louis to Kansas City 29 from Kansas City to Lincoln or 80 from Lincoln to Cheyenne and want to trade hmu. Will be hitting the road on the 9th of October.

 

In response to PM I thought I’d add this:

I’m going either interstate 70 or 80 to Wyoming. I’m fine with anything reasonable off of either. Also 64 from Richmond to St.Louis.

If you are interested and live in Illinois you will have to meet me outside your state. I’m a defense contractor heading out west for work. Your state does not recognize my DOD/DOJ permits and I’m not dumping my gear out of state to come into yours. I will work with you to find a reasonable location close to your border.

 

I like red a lot, but not that much. That's just overdone imho.

 

Was in the same boat then end up painting mine and the next day someone responded to my ad to trade... so there are folks out there that want them! Good luck!

always assumed these colors were aftermarket. aside from the red uca on the pros. im still mind blown. bump for you my friend!

Are they only for the front doors? Red is my favorite color.

 

Both front both rear and the trim piece on the dash above the glove box.

 

Funny, when I bought an SR5 in 2017, Toyota had color trims inside: grey, tan, and this red. At the time, I wanted a white Taco with the red. Ended up with an MGM (Grey) Taco with the grey color inside. No longer have the SR5 but I think if you're patient, you'll find someone to trade with. Good luck.

 

Have you considered buying the black ones from the dealer? Do you know if they sell them?
