Don't forget to wash your boar bristle brush :luvya:

Normally do so once a month but forgot for a good extra month; was really dirty

So that super fruity smell in the Alltrack that I thought was vape is starting to fade a bit. I'm thinking now it was some heavy duty air freshener/cleaner bomb that Carmax put in there.
I can't decide if it was hiding smoke or something yet because its not fully cleared out.

I'm back and forth on returning it, but have some time left. Might give it one good deep clean and run the AC hard for a bit and see how it goes.
It only has 5K miles on it. (2018) Was a state department vehicle registered to a foreign diplomat, so it probably sat for long periods, especially during coved.

With a stage 1 I think it would be a fun town/trip car though, so I hate to be hasty. I just fucking hate being sensitive to stanks lol.

The Nissan crowd that I know will say the fuel pump runs cooler when submerged in fuel. They also say that driving around on empty shortens its life and the FPCU.

it's still submerged in a 1/4 tank too though isn't it? I also thought someone on here was saying that was a myth too but maybe it depends on design/manufacturer

Right. Their story is 1/4 a tank.

ah I see, I read that in the context that they justified keeping it half full to keep the pump happy lol

Proof that spelling it out for some people just confuses them even more, then again it is a BMW owner

It's probably a lithium battery leaking and you're 3 oxygen molecules away from an insurance claim

These are pumps going back to the early 90s. May not matter all that much today.

Yeah, like half the forums for these cars are people that just pay others to have things done and the other half are arab dudes using broken English to compliment their own cars.
