Knockoff copy of the body armor highline. It does not interfere with the sensor.

I don't think I've seen gray on gray, looks very nice I would say better than the gray on bronze setups that I've seen around.

Hopefully bad things truly don't happen in 3.
On Wednesday while exiting the car wash the door closed on my hood. I was up to my windshield exiting when I noticed the door coming down so I reversed and almost cleared it but it caught my bug deflector. Fortunately the bug deflector was the only damage.

Now today on my way to work, stopped at a red light, a car slid into my bumper. Fortunately the damage is fairly minor and their insurance is covering it.

But if bad things happen in 3s that means this weekend something else is going to happen to my truck.

Bummer! Curious if the car wash is compensating you for bug deflector? Generally, what was their attitude?

Main car wash in my area has all sorts of disclaimers where they basically say they won't take responsibility for anything.

Finally got around to doing the accumulator disk mod, installed a Miller CatShield, and removed the 'predator' steps that were on the truck when I bought it.

Can anyone tell me if the bolts that secure the steps come with the steps or the truck? I'm guessing if they come with the steps that there should be some plugs or something to keep crud out of the threaded holes? TIA.

The guy working at the gas station was super nice about it and said since it was a sensor failure in the wash, for keeping the door open, it should be covered.
I have been using their car washes regularly for over a decade with no problems.

It all has to go through corporate so hopefully early next week they will contact me.
I'm just glad it didn't dent my hood.

The hardware goes with the steps. There are small black plastic plugs that go into those holes on the body. Toyota part number 90467-A0014. You'll need a dozen (six per side), and they're about a buck a pop IIRC.

I knows it’s cheesy, but I added the TACOMA black letters to the tail gate.

Gonna be unpopular, but: Pull the pin and put it in the bed for god's sake! (You pulled it out of the receiver anyway!) Why leave it out where it can cause damage to shins, bumpers, etc. and more damage when there is just a minor impact. I've always been in favor of this being a misdemeanor, ticketable offense.
