1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Yeah I've never enjoyed having roommates. Having a wife is more than enough most of the time

 

After living in a camper for ever I thought about having camper full hookups installed and turning it into a mother in law sweet or a garage office space

 

Just before Christmas a couple years ago Someone left a backpack full of stole Milwaukee tools behind my gate once (police tracked his foot prints in the snow right to it), I tried to argue with them that it was Santa bringing me my presents but they weren't buying it. I installed cameras less than a week later

 

Booo

 

As a person that has lived out of a vehicle for many years....


I can assure you people will willingly pay a fee for a safe place to park

 

I've thought about this to supplement my money.
I have an exterior 240v hookup and that driveway drain (the one that's frozen) + water off my shop. I just don't like having ppl around lol

 

Can probably get a beat up 80s suburban for it lol

 

#1 best thing that saved my marriage was sleeping in two separate beds. Started with 2 beds in the same room like you saw in classic leave it to beaver episodes. Currently 2 entirely different rooms in the house. We're sooooo much happy and more agreeable than we used to be and we even work together now so it's constant time together


Granted I suffer from night terrors so I don't blame her for not wanting to sleep next to/with me but recent studies have shown that marriages are stronger and longer lasting when partners at lease sleep in separate beds.

Just push em together when it's freaky time

 

I guess I should drop the price on this diamond housing again. It's been in the way for a year and I have no interest in cutting it for new outers lol

 

Yea that's the drawback.... Your normal vehicle dweller (rv or otherwise) gets ungodly protective of their parking space when they actually "pay to park"


I was always cognizant of my "landlords" and did my best to be as low profile as possible lol

 

I've got 2 large dogs that sleep better us so it's basically a separate bead. We do also typically get our own beds when traveling though

 

Sorry if this is too personal but... do you consider your missus your best friend?

For anyone else reading this... the number 1 best thing for a long lasting relationship, is making sure your significant other is your best friend

I was JUST suggesting this to my gf.
It's not like we have space issues, but I always end up sleeping on the edge anyway. My preferred way of sleeping is not how I end up (like a coffin) though lol... when she's not there I usually take up a diagonal middle, but no way can I do that in a Full lol

 

It's a double IPA evening. Boise beer. Not bad.

 

Listen... if she needs convincing, tell her to contact me. I've been with my wife off and on for over 16yrs now. The last 3.5yrs have been just as fantastic as our first 3.5yrs of martial bliss ONLY because we started sleeping in different beds in different rooms.

 

I'm a lager/amber enjoyer myself... this is what's on the menu tonight lol
