    Thanks Homie.

They had a pretty Ducati Scrambler in there as well. almost changed my mind. thought a quick second and went for my original. I'm a kid, I like to play in the dirt.

+1 for BRP start to finish. There’s miles and miles of great gravel roads that zig zag across the parkway, lots of fun to take those.

    Congrats! Great looking bike.

We all need to ride together once Chris gets his tuning dialed in. Tiffany’s Harley ran much better, post exhaust/air filter mods, after we added the FuelPak. The 1200 engines are great under 100 MPH plus your not leaving bits of your exhaust around like the typical 1200 which is even better.

All this motorcycling talk, I may have to do this again. I just found all my pictures from my first trip down the BRP. On a 1998 Buell S1. I'll let that sink in. First day was 10 hours and made it to Blowing Rock, NC. Did the last 100 miles to Asheville the next day-which is my favorite portion.

BRP is definitely on my bucket list. I've gone down Sklyline Drive down to Thornton Gap a few times, I always get off to run 211 down the mountain to Sperryville and back up before heading home. But BRP all the way down would be pretty epic. I used to do 3 and 4 days rides like that when i was in Korea with the motorcycle club on base. I really enjoyed that, most of the country is mountains and there were some pretty spectacular views.

    Korea would be fun.

BRP is a higher speed limit, much less traffic, and there's enough gas stops to get you the entire way. And the highest mountain east of the Mississippi.

I wonder if my fat ass is too big for a Royal Enfield.

It’d be a fun trade off - on road we’d be faster but off-road you’d lead for sure. Anything with 2 wheels is always a fun time.

Love hitting 211 up/down from the park! We need to do it again over 2 days, 1 day was okay but you can’t stop for anything other than gas, food and blue lights :bananadead:. This was us 14 hours in (before we had legit riding gear).

We’re trying to plan an international trip this year - I think the Alps are calling hah.

Which one would you get in an ideal world?

Yes - would it still be a Royal Enfield?

    Oh hell to the no!

I have no idea what it would be. I like so many bikes. If I won the lottery, I'd probably own 20 of them. But if there was only one.... Maybe the BMW K1600GTL. Sport touring bikes seem to fit my riding style the best. At least when I owned consecutive motorcycles it was. Not sure I could go very far anymore.

You’d could go coast to coast on that thing - hell it’s even got reverse!

Over the years, I have found that the creature comforts on a motorcycle make the trip more enjoyable. The first Buell trip was two small saddlebags, a backpack and some other stuff strapped to the back. I would never do that again. I still don't know how I did it. On the way back I took the highways. Much worse.

Bikes apart. Buelltooth is pretty cool. I have an error code for the accessory outlet and my afv indicates it’s running a little rich. I’m going to remove the header wrap for the pipes and blue them or paint them black, replace plugs and belt, remap and enjoy. I’m also going to keep my eyes open for an s1000r
