It's only lightly dusted at sea level here twice in my lifetime. I think I was like 5 the first time, I remember the old man building a little ice man and tossing it in the garage freezer back then. Second time was a year or two out of high school. It literally melted moments after hitting the ground. This storm though, nothing at sea level but nice to see the foothills and peaks around the bay covered in it. @Sperrunner, did you take your kid up into the berkeley hills to check out the snow?

Snow levels are down to 1k ft here which is about as low as they get minus once in my lifetime here where it actually snowed close to sea level in LA County (1989). Have a pic of 4 yr old me after building a giant snowman with my dad in our backyard. I think that was the last time actual LA proper got snow.

We live right in the foothills of the San Gabriel mtns and once this rain clears I'm sure we will see a lot of it really close to our neighborhood but it's just not quite cold enough this low (~600ft) for it to fall

Hmm carpet on the pass side of the 4runner is wet with rain water. No one's sat in that side recently so must be a leak, wonder if it's the door seals

Mostly stock - but I do have a suction cup phone holder - its pretty sweet
Thank you @Area51Runner and @01x4 - so it is harder than it would seem! lol - good to know! It is also a 20 year old truck so there is that.

I am not picky - but I just can’t find much out there at all and when I do, I am either slow or way under value.

My parents are in the foothills between Riverside and Corona by Lake Mathews 1,800 feet, this was a few years ago.
It would crazy to see downtown LA get snow.

It would be mayhem esp in this day and age of autopilot cars and smart phones, and the fact that awd/4wd is not common around the city

It would be. And we get a preview of this when they all head to the mountains on a snowy day.

The neighbors snow removal guy just came by. Took him 2 minutes to clear his driveway. I need to get a bob cat.

I like it when the have something to say situationally but just yelling because they can, that's straying away from man's best friend into child territory.
