Why did you choose option 1 over say 2? If you camp, which it looks like it, the extra gear could make you sag in the rear no?

When I first got the leaf pack installed. I didn’t have any plans on getting the RTT anytime soon so I set it at option 1 as the truck is my daily driver. I personally don’t like the look of too much rake. After installing the RTT and taking it on it’s first trip. The truck sunk maybe 1/2in to 1in? The rear is a fairly light weight setup and if I ever decide to add a tire carrier/bumper then I’ll upgrade to stage 2.

    Awesome.

I ask because I am getting this pack before the sale ends on the 28th and like to pick people's brains on their setups ....

Just wanted to confirm this is a legit source and priced cheap without U-bolt hardware. Ordered a pair on Thursday and was delivered 4 days later.

Anyone else experience a weird pop when loading one side with these leafs? Been trying to chase something that sounds like the leaf is loading up and then pops and releases once articulated enough, I believe in the compression phase, but could be the opposite side too. Loosened all u-bolts and shackle bolts and then retorqued everything while truck was loaded. Just got back from a trip in Big Sur and still am having the same issue. Any ideas are appreciated!

They're 8" U-Bolts in your Icon AAL kit. It's the same ones that are used on the RXT leaf pack. We don't recommend re-using U-Bolts as they're known to flex/stretch over time, but I can't stop you! You have the correct hardware on hand though.

I went with option (3) and I regret it feels like I’m driving down hill. I currently have a roof rack, sliders, decked system load (tools, camping gear etc), steel bed rack (RotoPax,maxtrax). It rides really nice but hate the rack forward. Last weekend I had 600lbs of play sand in bags and it didn’t make a difference.

This past weekend I installed the RXT leaf packs in the stage 3 configuration with Bilstien 5100’s and the Wheeler’s U-bolt and superbumper kits. The front shocks are set at the middle settings. There is a forward rake but that is ok. I have a SmartCap and decked system on order. I suspect that when loaded it will still have a slight rake but definitely not a saggy rear.

It’s a fairly straightforward installation that was accomplished in 8 hours.

Rake is good. Never like the leveled look. Better visibility for off-roading just saying

I'm eventually going to buy the fox elite performance 2.5"-3" kit as well as a iKamper 3.0 so we will see. I think with the suspension upgrade I'll be able to lift the front and then its smooth sailing from there.

The driveway slope is exaggerating that. Do you have stock suspension in the front? Because it looks really low

Front lift? Park on level ground with a side shot

Agreed. Looks like he’s stock up front and the driveway isn’t helping

It may look exaggerated but it's not. I will get a picture on flat ground tomorrow. And the only thing "suspension" wise I've changes is the leaf springs/bump stops. So yes factor fox that comes on TRD PROs
