To Rake or not to Rake? I don't think it should be a question.

Thanks! It came from AZ, I don't really drive it in the winter either. Been parked 95% of the time since the salt hit the roads. It's a good little unit, but definitely doesn't hold a candle to anything modern comfort / tech wise.

Level when no one is in the vehicle, slight rake when people are in the front seats. A nice level lifted Taco looks great, and performs offroad, but if you're hauling things, rake is nice. Depends on the use, but if you really want that perfect Taco, you've got to get that Carolina Squat out on the highway!

If you get an Any Level Lift you can have all the rake or squat you want ;)

I have the same feeling in my body as I do when my dog rubs his ass on the carpet. Disgust and laughter.

    Rake looks normal to me.

I'd say Ford leans the direction of excess rake.

F-150 Tremor has a bit of noticeable rake.

F-150 super cab long bed has a lot of rake as do the Super Duties. Load them up or hook up a trailer I'm sure it goes away.

Preferably I like the front leveled and the rear lifted to maintain some rake.

    Team Rake.

Team Level has a truck for looks only not for doing truck stuff. If they do haul their truck ends up looking like it's squatted.

    Yeah that's borderline excessive rake.
Though mines a short bed the rake of my truck isnt excessive. My buddies nearly identical truck but in silver and extended cab has slightly less rake. Seems it levels out nice when I have my trailer hooked up...

I only want my truck level when hauling or pulling. It's silly to have a level truck with no load. As soon as you load you go negative.

i had one on my ranger. mounting bolts need work. it got knocked off cleaning snow off the truck. it did make the truck faster though. my butt dyno posted an increase of about 25hp.

but all the lamborghini's, ferrari's and mclaren's wanting to race got annoying really quick, so once it got knocked off, i left it off.

If you have heavy springs, you can have a level truck that doesn't squat when you haul or tow. I have an OME heavy kit with zero squat when I tow 3500# travel trailer with about 400#s of tongue weight. I don't mind the raked look on my '81 GMC dually since it is 2WD but I prefer my 4x4s to be level. Just preference for me.
