I'm working on installing a viair 88 p into the bed cubby of my second gen.

Well guys, I attempted to grind off the exhaust flange bolt to put in a new gasket but when I cut the welded nut off, it like melted into the bolt and now it’s all one piece??? Makes no sense to me honestly lol

 

Packing up the truck yesterday, pushed a tote container into the back seat which inadvertently pressed into my fire extinguisher which was on the seat. The safety pin had come out which resulted in a cloud of yellow dust which went EVERYWHERE

I hear ya. I've been battling the same thing but mine is all previous owners flaws. I've damn near changed everything out. Also have bad axle wrap

 

Been there. Took me two days to clean all the powder out. Had to remove a lot of trim, including all the plastic for the driver-side suicide door.

 

Waxing the Turd to extend the life of the super white as long as possible. Might get it one stage polished this summer.
Washed and clay barred it yesterday in the sun

It's currently 22 degrees (cold for pnw) and it snowed last night

 

Modern ceramics are far more robust then paste wax.

I know, the only reason I use this is that it's more of a polish, and it works surprisingly well as a hand polish. I really need to nut up and buy an orbital one.

replaced the passenger fender and flare today lol. just gonna full send the door due to copious amounts of extra money from the insurance. also seafoamed the throttle body and intake

yesterday i did my slowest oil change ever. i was under the hazy fog of pain from a root canal the previous day. i took my time and double checked everything. i didnt want to start my motor without the oil filter or something.
