I'll stop you right there. There wasn't any interaction with another human being and whether or not they had good intentions is subjective. You can't know whether or not the persons intent was to make someone smile or provoke them.
I personally believe the best thing to do is respect other peoples personal property. I'm not spending money on any other persons vehicle, therefore i do not believe i have the right to place any items on or in their vehicle whether it be a rubber duck on the door handle or a case of empty beer cans in the bed, it's not mine, i don't touch it. If it's a joke between 2 friends then that's between them but if you don't know the person it might be wise to respect their property because one persons good intention could be viewed as a personal affront by another.

    I can't believe I'm defending team duck.

    It's a duck.

It's not beer cans in the bed, a bent antenna, scratched paint, or crazy glue squirted into the door lock. It's not an insult or being disrespectful. It's a duck.

That's probably the least possible worthwhile thing to get worked up about. Would I duck someone? No. Do I think it's stupid? Yes. Would I or any reasonable person get upset if someone ducked me? No.

I'd probably see it for what it was, laugh, and go about my day.

    It's. a. duck.

If I remember correctly, from my Jeeping days, being Ducked was a compliment from another Jeep owner. If you are offended, maybe it's time to slam your Taco, on the ground, put some big wheels on it, so it will never get Ducked again.

I agree, it’s kind of sweet when you really think about it. Nothing to get pissed about. Someone put a cute lil ducky on your truck, good grief.

It is a Jeep thing. And it's big. My wife has a wrangler jeep along with her sister. Oh, man do they get into the duck thing with other jeeps. Nobodys ducked my yoda yet. And yes they name them too.

True, I was trying to post from an objective point of view, there's no telling what is going to trigger someone these days. There are some pretty irrational people out there that get bent over nothing.
It wouldn't bother me, i would just remove it and go about my day but i can't speak for anyone else.

it’s not anonymous when there’s a tag with all your handles that go straight to your social pages on it. It’s the internet equivalent of a “From Chad” label on it.

Once they ask you to post a pic of it to their Instagram it went from anonymous complement to making it all about the giver.

Dude, they can ask me all they want to post a pic. I haven’t and won’t.
There is no tag with all my handles straight to my social pages.
There is no from tag on these ducks
    SO IT’S ANONYMOUS….

You worry about you, and let me worry about me.

It’s fun and harmless until someone makes it not.
