70+ thread?

I remember the 70’s …

 

I recall the 70's both mine and the calendar's.

 

Not quite 70 but I remember the 70’s.

 

Give me a few years……I plan on keeping my V6 MT until then… we’ll both be considered antiques.

 

I am putting in my application Born in 1947 -- you do the math -wait is it just you and me -Vann? One problem - you were in the Marines and I in USAF can we co-exist?

 

The 60+ thread works well for me. I qualify for an 80+ thread, but...

 

72 and army

 

Here we go -we have 3 branches of the military covered -all we need is a Navy person and a Coastie! Space Force --no I don't think that will work (age wise) unless we get a flyer who went into space- wow a Tacoma enthusiast who flew that high AKA an Astronauht. BTW SR-71 crews qualified for astronaut wings -this is a fact -they wore them on their orange flight suits at Kadena Okinawa.

I spent 4 years in the Navy, back in the dark ages. All in all, it was a good thing, but it was not a pleasant experience.

Born 1946...I'm in. I can still do a good day's work...it just takes me two days to get it done.

 

1945 here, give me three days and I'll give you a day's work.

 

1957 here, I hang out in the 50+ thread, I’m in denial. Lately been spying on the 60+ thread, both great threads. Thanks to all you Veterans, the year they ended the draft I turned 18. Should have enlisted, probably would’ve been better as a result.

 

Oh and I am a Navy vet.
