My job doesn’t require a degree and I still make good money. I didn’t finish my degree until earlier this year and that was just to hedge bets against the future, not because I need it or use it.

Funny hat. It’s funny because it’s bigger than a normal hat. :D

Enduro is short for endurance. Type of racing, not necessarily the type of bike, which are simply converted motocross bikes.

Per the article, 600hp/600tq does seem like still too much, guess you need it since they are so dang heavy. Really need to work on getting the batteries lighter.

Enduro is just a nickname Scaringe says. Components are from BOSCH and modified in house.

I know, but in my circles Enduro is short for Endurance racing. Why
Turd suggested they building Enduro motorcycles. Assuming Scaringe is shooting for longer batter life with lower power numbers for endurance. Hence the term “Enduro”

Well it stands for a few things. For Rivian it's just a nickname.

    From the article:

There are a number of extremely popular and easy to use apps that do exactly that. Finding a charger isn’t as simple as a gas station on every corner and highway exit but it’s not exactly difficult either.

All EV's have built in maps for chargers as well as Google and Apple maps and charger companies have their own maps. Seems he didn't do his research.

Yep, mine will even plan the route based on what chargers are available and how long to spend at each charger and what percentage to charge to each time.

Exactly. Plugshare and Chargepoint are a couple big ones for route planning and finding chargers. Chargers are far more prevalent than many people realize, they just don't have giant signs, with big stations and exit notices on the freeway to announce their locations. I got both Plugshare and Chargepoint apps when I got my EV because of all this talk about how hard it will be to find a charger. Turns out the car find them for you if you need it, you just tell the car where you are going if it is a long road trip and it will know if you need to charge and where the most optimal locations are to stop and how long you need to charge for. It really is not the challenge people make it out to be. I've never even needed to use the apps because the car does it all. There is a small learning curve since you are not going to see a charging sign on the highway, but it is not hard to figure it out.

I didn't read the article (I was at work.) I just wanted to share it here. Honestly I think they will evolve to be more useful to a larger majority. As of now they just cannot serve my needs due to inconvenience. Really just that simple. In decades to come this may all become moot same as combustion engine debates back at their inception.

Might be one of the reasons I'm not that into EV. I don't like using apps. For myself driving and fueling or charging should not take much thought at all. Chargepoint does sound like a good option for EV charging on the road.
