    Brand new.
Go to Tracktor supply and get a stall mat and cut it to fit, perhaps a card board template for the bed shape on top of the stall mat to trim to size.

OK. I have never given these a second look. Their website CLEARLY doesn’t do this wheel justice. What offset/backspace are your wheels? These are now near the top of my list thanks to your pics! Looks real good.

If it is any consolation, I bought my bed mat when I bought my 2nd gen in 07, moved it to my 21 3rd gen and it is still going strong. Its my work truck and gets a lot of abuse.

Thanks. I believe that when you select Tacoma and 16" you are only presented with a 0 offset option (I could be wrong though). So to answer your question, the offset is 0...the backspacing is 4.5" because of the extra half-inch lip on the back side of the rim.

Do the wheels have any offset to them?

I'm waiting in vain for the 'perfect tire' because there are so many tradeoffs. What is best on a summer highway is completely different than what works on ice, which won't hold up well to even moderate off-road use. Tread patterns and rubber compounds are better in some conditions than others. And then factor in size and width variations for different conditions. So I pick some compromise (based either on the majority of conditions driven or the most extreme conditions expected) since none of us can afford tires/rims for every occasion.
Whenever I see a new (to me) tire mentioned here I go look up the info on it to add to my list of possibilities when I need to replace. Keep the ideas coming!

I'm not the OP, but I think I see a Meso gashole in the background.

Must be a different material than some of the other HD mats. I bought a tailgate mat, made by Dee Zee I believe, to line my DB CrossBin. It appeared to be about the same composition as the Toyota OEM bed mat, which everyone knows is heavy AF. I wanted to cut it (the tailgate mat) into sections to perfectly fit the CrossBin compartments. There was no way I was going to be able to cut it with a utility knife. I ended up putting an old blade on my job site table saw and using it to cut the mat. It had some pretty tough core material embedded in the rubber. FWIW.
BTW your mat looks great. Just sayin' DSFDF.
