I'm curious to know wheel offsets for some of you guys running 285/75/17. I'd like to got that direction, but I'm already close to rubbing with 285/70/17 and I've done the CMC and flattened the pinch welds a bit. I run -10 offset.

17x8.5 0 offset. What makes it work for me is JD Fabrication LCA mounts and UCA then slight trimming of bumper cover.

How much more did you have to cut to fit these? I'm running the same spec wheel but on 285 70 17 but looking to switch to 285 75 17. I already did my pinchwelds/cmc/caster +4.

just cutting as I go. Very small trim on front bumper and pushed plastic way forward with a heat gun. CMC, pinch weld, trimmed some plastic near the fender flare and probably need to cut a little metal as I still rub in reverse at roughly 1/2 lock on an incline.

Just the typical lower fender flare area? I cut up that area but I guess I'll probably need to cut more?

Looking at getting the same wheels and tires, what modifications did you have to make to not rub. I’m stuck between -12 and -25 offset

I'm 285/75/17, JBA UCA, CMC/pinch weld, @3.25" lift, no rubbing at all.

    17x8.5 0 offset Icon wheels.

Okay I’ve read all 59 pages and I’m all but convinced to go 285/75/17 over 285/70/17 but have some questions and maybe just need a nudge to pull the trigger. Truck is a new to me 2020 off road that is currently stock. I have icon 2.5 with resi’s on the way as well as the new mono forged relations race wheels RS7-H 17x8.5 with a 0 offset on the way. Also scheduled a CMC at SDHQ here in the valley. Should mention I’m just planning on running an aal for the rear for the time being.

    Questions:
First, I was planning on going with the Icon tubular delta joint UCA and am wondering if I will have any issues there with the alignment or rubbing with the 0 offset wheel or if I need to go with the adjustable SPC’s?
Second, Is the performance/power loss difference that noticeable between the 285/70 and the 285/75. Plan to re gear but that will have to wait until this fall/winter more than likely. Also I know guys have mentioned getting the truck tuned which I could maybe do until the re gear happens.

    Thank you for any insight!

@AZ_Jake i had the KDMax tune sometime after going 34s. It made a huge difference on driving enjoyability. It was a dog prior.

I'm on Icon rebounds 17x8.5 0 offset. 75" spacer, JBA UCA, CMC, pinchweld. Zero rubbing on pavement. 3.25" lift currently.

Key is good alignment. I could barely even turn without rubbing hard til the alignment.
IDK what my caster is at b/c my alignment guy does it old school. Supposedly best in town

    Glad I found this thread.......
No thanks to the search engine here however.

I've been sitting on a set of 17" Method MR312s for about a year or more waiting for enough money to get the lift/gears/work I need and just purchased a set of 285/75/17 KM3s to go with them.

Lots of good looking rigs here for inspiration too.
Will post pics once the work is done.

That set up looks awesome. I'd do the same, but I bought mine with brand new 285/70/17 Nitto Grapplers, so I won't be making a switch until they wear out.

Shit this thread is great. Convinced me to do 285/75r17, coming from 265/70r17. 6112/5160s go on after a trip to Moab this weekend, then cut/install/align. What is money?!

Indeed, just dropped a sum on a lift/cut/CMC for my DCLB to accommodate some 285/75/17s........
