    I think we’re in a time when MFGs and warranty companies have accepted replacing a “bad transmission” is inevitable, as the good tech that can actually diagnose what is actually wrong are in short supply.
    Of course, when they accept that, they bake those entire replacement in to their cost of goods/services.

    Now that I am getting a new transmission does anyone have any recommendations on what I should do to avoid this again or should I leave truck as is since they are taking responsibility for everything should I Regear that’s about the only thing I think I could do to make everything last longer please and thank you for all the replies just trying to get the most out of my truck

    I'm guessing that lifetime powertrain warranty is one of those that your dealership gives you and uses as a marketing tool to pull people to their dealership.

    Good that you're getting a "new" transmission, but I do wonder if what the other guys have mentioned could be the solution. A fluid drain and fill and fresh spark plugs could go a long way towards smoothing out what you're experiencing.

    That type of maintenance is needed at 95k miles.
