It is a pretty stock truck...not sure where you get the implication that I think it's not.

If you're not a car person maybe you just don't understand. I always check out sweet vehicles when I'm out driving.

Yup, door handle, lock cylinder and that internal rod thingy plus they fkd how the door sat on the hinges (brute force I guess). 1100 tax in all set and done.

Happened about 10 feet from my living room window around 4am. 2nd time in 2 years haha but I live in the ghetto FYI.

The dog heard it all go down but I didn't trust him that it wasn't a critter or my dumbass neighbor or something so I didn't get outa bed.

In the Land Cruiser I get a lot of thumbs up from Jeepers for some reason and 4 Runners.

Imo the ones that "look" kinda stock from far but up close u see the nice functional mods folks do, are the best ones to see on the road.

There's a sweet older Lexus GX all lifted up with hi clearance everything that I see around sometimes and I always eye fuck it haha

Very much a car person. Yours looks stock and boring grey color. Might as well be a fleet vehicle. I ain't staring at the orkin tacomas either

Not really sure what your deal is man...just trying to have some good, fun conversation with fellow tacoma owners. If you don't have anything nice to say, why even get involved? I don't expect everyone to like the same things as me, otherwise the world would just be boring, and everything would be the same. But putting people down is just kinda weird honestly.

I've seen a AAA 2nd gen TRD Pro....I almost broke my neck doing a double take...I'm pretty sure it was an access cab, too. A first for me

Yeah not gonna lie, I really like the look of an Access Cab...but the DC is just too much added utility for me, considering I do have back seat passengers from time to time.

Honest answer though, I get most comments about the paint color I chose, usually from other Toyota folks who wanted the Cement.

    Check build thread!
I’ve had a lot of older gentlemen ask me about the snorkel in parking lots. Usually some have a glory days story to tell. It’s pretty cool lol.

Most of the looks, waves, thumbs up, or comments I get are from Taco or ex-Taco owners.

In my area, it seems like most people driving around in 4Runners are highfalutin soccer moms that probably don't even know they're driving a Toyota.

Jeep dudes are too preoccupied at waiving at every other stock jeep on the road, so...yeah Taco owners...or Ranger/Colorado/Canyon/Bronco owners that wish they bought a Tacoma.

    Taco envy.
