    ^^^^^^

The extra weight in the bed smooths out the ride: less shaking, rattling and hopping, and I think it's quieter in the cabin as well... until it melts away in a few days. :D

Yeah I know lol. I never shovel out my bed until I need it. I find the back end of the taco so light. You almost need full time 4x4 to get anywhere.
But I've never seen someone use brackets like that haha!

Keep an eye on the weight you're putting on there. I don't recall what their weight rating is but you might be maxing it out. Their rating is really confusing.

What I find more intriguing is that he spent $140 on a shovel...

Ah I paid 80 dollars maybe before inflation but not really thinking about how much it is today. Also thought I’d be a good tool if anybody was snooping around when I’m camping.

I wish I bought one when they came out. Many reasons to have one like that. Just to expensive now.

made one of those shovels with a friend made a templet, cut teeth into the shovel. and then ran a good bead of weld along the edges and some braces and so far it's held up pretty well.

My line in the sand is roof tents and awnings.

If I don't get those I'm still just off road camping, never mind I have everything else...
