Yeah man, I was about to get an RSI and then heard what the wait time was gonna be, the contour is amazing, I’m glad I went with it, get compliments on it all the time. OK4WD will ship one to you, for like $350 shipping. They said they had a few left up for grabs when I talked to them about 3 weeks ago. Mule in WA sold out, and then got some in about 1-2 weeks later. It was great working with Mule in Issaquah, their dates were almost dead on (one day off) for when delivery would be of the canopy.

Good excuse to upgrade the bumper. The tail gate on the other hand....

 

Broke down and got the Form LED tail lights. Been a while since I added a mod so I was itching for something. A little pricey but looks pretty good. Also, weird reflection. I dont look like a potato in real life.

 

Tails look good, not outlandish. Nice DB bed cover too btw, sharp looking truck. I get asked about mine all the time. DB bedcover is the best mod I’ve done

 

Those look sweet. I gotta do something about my tails. The stock 1999 “Altezza” look really bums me out.

 

Great, just great. My taillights were fine..............until I saw those.

Thanks Sir. I pretty much have the truck where I want it. Taillights were an impulse buy, but not regretting it now.

Made some upgrades

 

Nice wheels, 16s or 17s? Got me a set in Bronze in 16s but thinking the black now. But I already have black Fuels on but worth the try. What tires did you end up on and any lift? Truck looks good!

 

After 2 years I finally decided to mess with the suspension. Front got a 2” lift using a taller red coil-over spring from Eibach. Rear got a 1.5” lift from an AAL. Also had the ECGS bushing installed along with SPC upper control arms.

Still on 33” tires

Finally got permission to shed the factory Goodyears. Went up to 265 75 16 - ride is smooth and tall, not loud at all and 1lb lighter per tire than stock. Too soon to tell for sure but from the looks of the first ride or two I’ve taken- better gas mileage. 65000 mile warranty too, glad I chose these over the others.

 

I went on a paint contract recently,the first three months they rented me a Corolla.
The last three months they wanted to put in a ford F150, I told Enterprise "I can't be seen in one of those,I drive a 1st gen Tacoma back home"
This is one of the coolest trucks I've ever driven, I wish I could afford to buy one. Good for you guys that have one !
