Had an auto and manual frontier each….then got the Tacoma 3.5 6 speed manual. I really wish I could put the Nissan driveline and performance into the tacoma. The gearing and engine power was just all around better. I do think the quality of my Toyota is better, but the frontier was quite a bit more enjoyable to drive and I didn’t need to tune it or delete an accumulator to get it to feel that way. Pros and cons I guess.

If I could have it my way, the first thing I’d change in the Tacoma is the manual trans gearing. The 4.30s sound great and all, but they aren’t that awesome by the time you factor in the trans gearing.

The MPG thing with the missing torque is weird. They didn't even get sporty with the Pro. Kind of a missed opportunity. But then, the Supra isn't what it was either. Hahaha!

Not the best video but at least shows it's a slight upgrade from OEM.. which I found out today is very expensive replacement

Thanx for posting that though, I'll probably consider it when I upgrade. As DP is not exactly stock anymore.

Yea I got quoted $4,500 parts and labour for OEM replacement of clutch flywheel bearing and fluid with alignment. I'm sure the parts can't be $2600..
