    Love. It.

I've got two pairs of Cerwin-Vegas so I'm especially digging the two sets of floor speakers. :D

    Yamaha Aventage! :headbang:

I've been looking at new receivers. The Yamaha A6A and A8A are nice, but wow they're expensive. I Might go with the Denon X4700H instead.

I like Polk's R700 towers for music and the Klipsch RP280F/RP450C for movies. Stuff adds up quick.

I'm fighting the urge to upgrade the theater room because it would essentially mean a complete overhaul. New receiver, new projector, might as well at least entertain Atmos which would mean moving and replacing the surrounds, etc...

And I know everyone's preferences are different but when I listened to a Klipsch setup (not sure what models they were) at Best Buy (not the best (ha!) place to demo, but still) to my ear they were on the shrill side. It might have something to do with the source they were feeding them but I was a bit disappointed.

i've always found klipsch to be extremely directional and harsh. of course, i'm more of a soft-dome non-horn-loaded kind of guy. so a horn-loaded metal dome just grates on me. their older speakers seemed to run closer to natural-sounding, these newer versions remind me of the tv settings for 'store display' and 'home', but they're stuck in the store display mode

i want to build my own speakers to integrate atmos into my theater setup. i'm not sure it'll be all that useful, but at least another thing to tinker with.

you know the funny part? the reason i went with yamaha's above all other brands is because they have a little readout showing which speakers are active. that's it. denon was a close second, just didn't like the knobs on them...

now i'm committed to yamaha with the app control, so i've got 4 units, 3 installed through the house... 2 of them were goodwill buys for $30!

We got 4-6" yesterday afternoon and evening, then rain started. I blew out our laneway around 8pm just as the rain came and haven't been out yet today to see what it's like. I have to go let the neighbors dog out soon, she got stranded out of town yesterday.

Good morning guys, hi Shane (wherever you are). Have a great Tuesday.

Had a good day in the woods yesterday with my buddy looking for old stuff, found a few places that were cool.

Got to wash the truck today

I take the cold and snow !!

My AC costs would be much more expensive because if need be I can do without heat!

Great idea it would never work in my case .

Everyone would just bring it back I don`t have near enough neighbors.

Besides they are every bit as bad as me Things followed them home from work.

I'm putting the saga of the red rack on the list. Everyone was keeping up on that!

But as far as Best of Shane himself, seeing him taking the time to teach his kids the tools of the trade, that's a real father. Bravo.
