Favorite Whiskey?

There's a small-batch distillery in the basement of The Mob Museum in Las Vegas. They have a taste&tour of their moonshine. It was all quite tasty. Even the wife liked it!

 

I wish I had bought the white from Dickel for a side-by-side comparison. I'll return to Dickel soon and pick up a bottle so I can. JD doesn't sell their white, but they spray some on your hands at the beginning of their tour. From just that little taste I can say it was really smooth, but it was also 140 proof.

 

That's almost EverClear territory!

 

But much better! It was the best-tasting hand cleaner I've ever had!!!

 

There's a local distillery in Orange County, that during lock down they switched to hand sanitizer. I managed to procure a couple bottles!

I'm too scared to taste something 160 proof and 2+ years old...

 

I am going to drink SO much on the 28th to make up for those days!

 

Why not make it a three day challenge? I like things in threes. Add in the 29th and I’m in.

 

Something different tonight. I’d classify this as a beginner whiskey, feel like this couldn’t possibly hurt a first time drinker.

 

I have a cask strength of this weighing in at 132 proof. I am intrigued by that, I will admit.

 

So that’s how I ended up with this.. i was in search of a cask strength and my BIL found this and didn’t look close enough and bought it for me. It’s not bad, but i think I’d really like it full strength
