Hot Wheels 66 Nova lowered and real riders added. Got this for the nova collection.

 

I forgot about this thread. First time posting. Just gave my two year old my cars from the 80s. Here are the cases.

 

I had both of those cases until 3 years ago, when I gifted them to my nephews.

 

Pulling them out of the storage box was like a blast from the past.

 

Cases are something else I collect. Just not as much.

 

If you ever want to sell those bottom two let me know.

 

I see a guy selling this one at a show I go to every month. $500 he will be trying to sell it for awhile.

 

What do the cars looks like that were in the case? I remember playing with the black van with flames as seen below on one of the cases. I actually found one on ebay a while back and brought it. There is a white, silver and possible additional color versions as well that I want. (1974)

 

Haha. Yep, got that one. They're all a little beat on, I played with my toys like a normal kid growing up. I'll snap some pics of the others.

Do they still make cases like those? If so where would one find them?

 

Not like those. I tried to find a case for my nieces son but the only one I could find the cars would fall out when you opened it. It was plastic with wheels on it and a long handle to walk with it like a piece of luggage.

 

Reminds me every day that I don't have a VooDoo Blue Pro and am therefore unhappy.

 

F'n kids already hit the front of the S&H Torino with blue marker.

This is why they will not get my Voltron!

I watched that show when I was a kid even know that song but I didn’t know he sang it.

 

This van came out in many different colors over the years. With different logos on the sides. Some lifted with real riders, and some the same colors but with different wheels or blue tinted windows. If you just want the ones with flames probably around 10. Give or take a few. All of them I would have to say 30-40.
