Nice. All good finds. Anything from Sezerac can be a little hard to come by. Time to broaden your horizons, you need Russels in your life.

 

Our local store got those this past Saturday, here in northeast Ohio we do get a pretty good selection from time to time.

 

Ah. Ohio, time to track down some Weller! Any bottle of Weller is a good bottle of Weller. Keep up the good work!

 

I don't have it pictured but have a green and a red Weller, they were each under $30 but only come around about once every 2 months it seems.

 

Special Reserve and Antique 107, under $30 for 107 is a steal, if i could buy that for $30/bottle thats probably all I would drink.

I bought this bottle because of a glowing recommendation from a store associate. Oh my God it was bad! A buddy and I had to play a drinking game where the loser had to take a shot just to finish the bottle!

 

I had some for the first time last weekend and that’s gonna be my next bottle. It was delicious.

 

I will have to see if that is available here (I'm still seeing what I like!) For cost I've been really enjoying Bulleit lately.

 

It is delicious, I savor that one a little since it's just over $100 a bottle here. But last time I was out they had 4 bottles just sitting on the shelf.

I'm with ya! I think I started my whisk(e)y journey about a year ago. I started with Scotch but quickly found a taste for Bourbon.

Unfortunately, I have a hoarder's need to collect. I have so many bottles that I haven't even touched since I bought them, much less tried! I'll have to take a photo when I get home. Lol

 

I'm going down the same rabbit hole. Wife and I went on a cruise in December and I was able to drink lots of fine booze that I either can't afford or buy here. Now I find myself at the liquor store on Saturday mornings waiting for them to open just to get drops of the rare stuff as it comes. I haven't opened alot of what I have either, I just buy it cause it's hard to get and fun to collect haha!

My mom came across Weller SR recently in a Cleveland area grocery store which is sort of unheard of, made me think perhaps availability was getting better in the area.
