So I guess it just snows all day every day now, eh?

Decent winter. 2004 and I think 2011(?) vibes this year.

Best winter I can remember in a long time. Might be a delayed start to camping season this year but I’ll take it.

I'm not complaining. It keeps the Kalifornians away. I've been driving around town as normal the last few days/weeks and it's been awesome with all the folks sitting at home scared of the dreaded snow. Went to a few of my favorite restaurants last night and tonight with zero wait and awesome service.

yeah, last time I remember snow like this was when I just began skiing which was around 04ish. The pow days have been absolutely incredible.
Buddy and I were talking about that yesterday. We usually start camping when it's still near freezing at night in the mountains, but this year the areas we go will be so snowed in I'm not sure when we'll even be able to reach them.

Yeah. Stories of people in one story houses could not get out. Two story house, climbing out upper windows. People burning furniture to stay warm. It was huge news.
That was my last year in Reno/Sparks. I worked at Grove Valve and Regulator at 625 Greg St Sparks.

I was supposed to go snow camping this weekend with my buddies. We go every year at this time for my bday. Yesterday we decided to postpone it :pout:

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
I got fishing and scouting to do, never mind taking the kiddos out to go fishing and camping and shootin' and stuff. But, this is what I bargained for when I moved here, and this is what I planned for. Besides, we have all the gear to go play in the snow, and it's good exercise for me to lug the little one around in her sled for my lunch hour. :D

That was. BRUTAL winter . I couldn’t even get out of my house . I was living up in caughlin ranch at the time. People were literally riding snowmobiles everywhere . Hardly any traffic , kids sledding in the streets . It was pretty epic. I had to walk my ass in the snow to scholaris off Cahill and mccarran. That sucked monkey balls lol. But looking back it was fun.

Mannn:(. It would be an amazing year for it too, but there's snow camping and then there's whatever this year is. I used to go snow camping but haven't in a while. You have reminded me I need to get back into that. Where do you guys usually go?

We ripped around our snow machines in town that year. Plus a lot of snow skating and hitting rails on our snowboards, but we did that every year.

Pulled my buddy on his snowboard from the back of my truck last night lol. Was tons of people out playing in the snow. I could get used to this kind of winter. Unfortunately I know it won’t be regular :(

So technically 80’s closed today but my friend who works at northstar said they were letting people through soooo

i think tomorrow my classes can be put on the back burner for another pow day

80’s fucked. No commercial trucks or vehicles w out chains/4x4 yet tons of people going that way this morning. Makes a ton of fuckin traffic cus they’re getting turned around. How hard is it to check road conditions :/ was clear when I started getting ready to leave my place…

since I absolutely have to be here for my 3:00 class I just fuckin turned around and went home. No powder for me. I’m ticked off. Now I’m tired AND I didn’t get to go snowboarding today :(

Rose is an 800$ pass fuckkkkk that. Plus Tahoe local is so nice cus kirk is amazing for big mountain. Northstar for park. And heavenly for killer views and groomer days. Plus it was 430$ for me. Also In normal road conditions northstar is like 5 mins farther than Rose. And a much bigger mountain
