Sliders are a must have! You don’t need them until you need them and by then your doors are all busted up. Plus they double as a nice step for the short people.

I've got a wear tab on the back that is bent all to hell and you can hear it. I've been ignoring it. I might just clip it off and keep an eye on it. And when i replaced the rotors up front i never replaced the pads. But I can get pads cheap through one of our Dept's. I was just gonna replace them all at once just to have the Maint. Data.

I'll grab some more than likely. I've just got other things that are higher on the priority list. I've looked at a few brands. I'll prob go White Knuckle if there still in business by then.

LFD and Budbuilt are right up the road...both solid options.

There is a new guy down in SC making stuff too:

Will do! The rear rotors look great. We all know the brake bias on these things put the front brake components under more load than the back.

I looked at LFD a while back, there's have been listed as " out of stock " for a while. Dunno what's up with that.

Been using my Bluetti EB3A to power my Iceco VL45PRO fridge and charging the power station off the 12v cigarette outlet in the GX. This is a great and easy solution as long as the car is running and the alternator is doing its job.

However when we're on the beach or parked up at camp, we were basically on a wing and a prayer as far as battery consumption was concerned.

To try to alleviate that I picked up a Bluetti 120w solar panel. Should work nicely in keeping the power station topped up. I'll post more once I get it in my hands.

Should be more than enough to keep the battery charged and the fridge powered.

200w panels for my Jackery 1000 work great at Fort Fisher.

My thoughts exactly. I'm excited to put it to use. My fridge only draws around 30w once it's at temp. If i can get at least 50w of solar an hour we will be in good shape.

This morning was the first morning of full sun since I received my PV120 so I set up up to see how it woukd do. And im happy to say I was more than impressed.

The first screenshot was at 0930. Solar panel was pulling 118w while the eb3a was sending out 49w to the fridge. The fridge was empty and at an ambient temperature of 49 degrees when I turned it on.

    Screenshot_20230311-093329_BLUETTI.jpg

Second screen shot was at 1000. Solar was still providing 118w. The EB3A's battery percentage had increased from 88% to 98% and the fridge was at 32 degrees and holding.

    Screenshot_20230311-095832_BLUETTI.jpg

I'm super stoked to be getting so close to the advertised 120w output. The panel seems to be constructed well and I think the $300 price point is fair. Not a steal but fair. The only thing I find lacking is the length of the MC4 leads. I will be purchasing extension cables to allow for better placement depending on conditions.

After a successful use this morning, I thought I woukd try it again. So sometime around 1030 this morning I let the fridge warm back up and then set it at its lowest temp setting. At the same utilizing the USB ports on the front of the fridge i plugged in my phone and my JBL charge Bluetooth speaker. I spent the next few hours letting the power consumption of the fridge pull the EB3A's power down to 68%.

I brought the solar panel back out and monitored performance on the hour.

It's pretty evident that under my normal usage and with a healthy supply of Vitamin D ... the 120w of potential solar is more than capable of supplying my usual power demand while still charging the EB3A from 68% to 99% in a little under 3hrs.

Tire Rotation by the boys at the local @Discount Tire
I've currently put about 21k on it since I've bought it without a rotation. The Goodyear's are wearing well with 30/70, off road/highway driving, currently running 38psi front and 36psi back.

    Current mileage is 257,660

Make sure to tell Jacob to have the boys use the finger plates on those wheels. Otherwise, you'll be returning for a rebalance.
