    Hello all

I have a 2018 SR5. When I first bought it one of the first things is did was swap out the SR5 grill to the OR grill from another 2018 (the cheese grater). I was content for many years and enjoyed the look.

I'm keeping the 18, but not I am eyeing the "honeycomb" style grill from the 2022 and newer models, or even the SR5 grill from the 2022 and newer models.

Are grill inserts from later model Tacos compatible with 2018 models without modifying anything?

( I tried the search feature to see if this had been answered already....found nothing).

All 3rd Gen grilles are interchangeable. Although with the radar sensor in the 2018 and up, you will have to stick to those years. If you had a '16-'17 then any year works.

So, yes the newer grilles will interchange without modification.

    Thanks Speedfreak, love your avatar.

Do you know of any difference in the radar sensor from 2018 to current day. I do have radar sensor. From the sounds of it, having a RS makes it so my idea won't work.

Looking at Toyota parts, there is no difference '18 to '22 model years... '23 is didn't show... most likely the same though.
