Monday, 5 days this week, wintery mix for weather again today before turning to all rain. I'm so tired of winter at this point, it can be spring now. Lol.

I work for a medical waste management company. Did OTR for two years but drive Local now. Well I hate motherfuckers who cut me off on the road and hate when people merge on the freeway hella slow. Other then that I love looking my window to see hot babe in skirts and clevege :beavisd:

How about the ones that are in the far left lane and sweep across 3 lanes of traffic at the last minute to hit an exit ramp.

Is it just me, or people forgot to give courtesy to a trucker backing up by giving him/her space until they are fully backed in to a parking spot/dock.

Tuesday, pre trip found a mud flap gone, lol. Had to get one put on at the fuel stop this morning.
Driver etiquette? Drivers leave chocks in the docks and just drive over them and drive away, next guy backs in a inside dock and doesn't see it and looses a mud flap. No there is no common courtesy anymore.

Hasn’t been in many years, not with todays steering wheel holders, me first attitude and screw everyone else. They’re too lazy to get their flip flop, sweatpant wearing asses out of the truck to do anything. Definitely not the same industry I started in 42 years ago.

And most of them don't speak English anymore. How the heck did they get their license?

It comes down to Insurance Companies.

I saw this play out all to often.

20 years experience all season HR person Sorry you have 2 moving violations in 10 years we can not hire you.

Recent grad never pulled a loaded trailer . HR we can you start ?

    Is it any wonder .

My favorite is when they use a low Cost GPS speced for 4 wheelers Millions of damage in just one fleet removing the trailer roofs .

I am sure I could go for pages.

Can`t speak English to money is involved then that changes in a second.

Just enough to look kinda cool.
I heard recently that just a basic repair on one of the concrete overpasses is a million plus. Can’t imagine what the total is with wrecker fees, bridge damage, trailer/freight damage, insurance, etc

Nothing against shorts, hell I wear them every day now that we moved south, and I can move my chocks also. You know the kind of driver I’m talking about, sweatpants, t shirts that haven’t been washed in 6 weeks. Like I said, it’s just not the same industry anymore.

I think it is pretty much in all the skilled crafts any more.

Time flies when I started as a Millwright in the seventies on the bigger projects we all got along .

If you needed help you did not even need to ask more then enough was there in a second.

Any more 20 people will stand and watch 1 or 2 people struggling .
