So your thinking that maybe it just wasn't reading accurately and it had way more fuel left in it than was indicated?

Not sure why the owners manual say 15.4 tho.

 

I just ran my VIN through partsouq.com, found the fuel tank part number 770013D300 which on other sites is listed as an 18.5 gallon tank. Same tank the 1995.5 - 2000 Tacomas use.

I'll see what the owner's manual says, maybe it was an error in printing.

 

So after that conversation, I took a look at what the door jam tag said. Mine has a diff code of A03A, which is 4.10s. It is supposed to be the same as B03A which my Tacoma has.

 

Yep, non-locker with V6 = 4.10

I wish I had my window sticker still but I gave it away with the 4R....though I'm pretty sure that said 18.5 gallons as well on it. Can't remember the manual though, I never thumbed through it.

But filling up it was definitely 18.5 cause I'd fill up 15 max when I intentionally hit the low light. When that light turns on, you're on the last 3 gallons or so.

 

Did you get an owners manual with it. Be curious what it says about tank size.

 

Yep, just checked...it says 18.5 gallons, or 15.4 Imperial gallons haha

 

Yeah, that is what I just did. Imp gallons are not US gallons.

Did I give you one extra brake line or two?

 

I ask because if I gave you one, I'll have two more in my shed, garage, and/or storage out of town.

Can send these other guys one if they need.

Different lines.

The extra brake lines I had were; 1 extended for a Tacoma rear, and 2 extended for a 4Runner rear.

If there's snow, we're going to be extra cautious about where rocks are so we don't go sliding off anything...especially you being on stock suspension.

 

I will have ATF with me though.

 

For sure, it could be real icy too because it will warm up some now that the storm is clearing out but still freeze overnight up there.

There's a spec out there I'm sure of what temperature it is supposed to output, just like the is for AC. How else would you quantity a broken heater or AC. My guess is the output is not below the threshold. Or he is feeding you bs. Put a thermometer in your weak vent and see what temp it's registering, Google says 115 is the normal output to expect.

Damn over 21mpg!? Not bad at all with all the hills.
