Super cheap insurance.

80 series has this aluminum expansion plug that in an extremely rare situation, can fall out from the power steering pump. This was broken apart to show how it fits -



Just toss the emergency plug in, top off, and you're good to go again -

I thought 20 mpg for the whole trip was pretty good considering the horrible head wind from Pendleton on.
