Just replaced mass air flow sensor and when I take off the truck acts like it wants to shut off/bog down. Anyone got insight or advice as to what causes this? Tia

Can you tell us why you replace the sensor?
And with what brand of sensor you replaced it with?

Miles on truck? Last trans service was when? Have you verified trans is full?

Dealers aren't the only folks who work on vehicles either. Find a good independent so you have other options.

Duralast, that is enough information for me to advise you to put the old one back in.
The chances the shift issues were related to the MAF was slim anyways.
And the duralast sensor didn’t help any.

I’d put the old one back in, and see what happens.

clean the old one, reinstall, unhook the battery for 10-15 mins and then drive it.

also probably wouldn't hurt to clean the throttle body.
