    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Those are the ones I run. What is "metal" about them? The part that always breaks on me (the inside of the handle where the tips of your fingers are) is still plastic on that handle.

    Swooshy noises

It genuinely looks fine if done right, I ran one for a couple years. Why spend $200+ when you can spend $12 and 15 mins to achieve the same thing

Is that ice? Idk what to tell you... Not even a concern in the southern desert where probably 50% of the people on here live. Maybe the moisture wouldn't be there if you had a second orifice

I was mistaken. These are the ones I have and they truly are all metal. The other one I linked must be different.

haha no you don't have to. But you do realize that the stock air intake is a true CAI yes? And the temp of the air trumps the "flow" you gain from the hole.

But whatever. Go for it. As a wise man once told me, the deck plate mod is like initiation. Everyone has to do it. Then regret it. And move on.

Honestly didn't think people still did that mod these days..

Yes I do realize. Due to its geometry it also pulls a slight pressure drop from atmosphere. Deck plate mod is a relief cut, you're basically pulling from around the headlight housing. It's an innocent mod imo - not going to benefit much but I can't see it hurting either, that's all I'm saying

It lets in a ton of shit into the air box is all. That was my and most others experience anyways. If you never go off the regular road and dont ever drive in bad weather, probably never notice.

I think that's the whole point of being able to close it..

K&N pairing helps since you just clean after if you forget
