I'll have to remember to check that out when I visit there next time. I've never been to that casino. Snoqualmie is a cool little town. Did you get to check out the Falls?

Yall def have some impressive collections, I've been lurking this thread for a while. I've tried a few different whiskeys but always come back to Woodford or Gentleman Jack.

Given my current taste, is there any yall would recommend?

Who posted the bit bout the Ice Hockey benefit auction? I can't find the post; it looks like the mods might have removed it.

good luck to you, and thanks!

Something about fundraising and crowdsourcing….totally get it, could open this place up to a lot of spam and scammers. It actually never crossed my mind to think about that. Luckily we have some cool mods here, no big deal

ECBP is an excellent bourbon. I have an A123 open, is that the one you saw? It’s very good, actually better than the last batch I tried which was somewhere in 22.

Hey guys, can you point me back to the posts where those with the Blade and Bow keys identified themselves? I finally called Stitzel-Weller and they love what we want to do.

I’ll need whoever has the keys to mail them to me, and I’ll submit a photo to the distillery and request an engraved glass with “Tacoma World”. Maybe I can even get it done with the actual logo. I’ll let everyone know when the glass is ready, first to get to the distillery picks it up and then we rotate it from there.

Separate topic: look at the proof on this one!

We didn't do much besides visiting the cigar bar and a little gambling. My buddy I was visiting lives in Bellevue. On a whim, we called up the bar and asked if they had Pappy on hand. Once the answer was "yes", we piled in the car and headed there. In the middle of the night. To drink high-priced whiskey.

Can you PM me please? Also our Ambler office closed aka access to the Lansdale store :annoyed: but there is a premium store around the block from the Philly office. I imagine that one gets MOBBED though.

Sounds like you've tried some others. What did/didn't you like about them?

Maybe try some of the Old Forester line. Should have some similar tasting notes to Jack and Woodford since its all Brown Forman. There is the 1910 which is on the sweeter side and not too high proof, its a good place to start. The 86 proof is probably most similar to Jack. There's always the Woodford Double Oaked too. Similar to the OF1910

I also love Wild Turkey 101 and it's relatively cheap so great for mixing and it will stand out more than the JD or WR
