I like this idea. I have a iProtec rc3200 that I'm going to mount similarly. Did you snake a charging cable to the area also or just remove when it needs charging?

I blacked out the vent rings and installed the Phillips H9 low beam bulbs. I trimmed the bulbs rather than removing the green inserts on the truck harness. 20230301_142152.jpg 20230301_141444.jpg

Got the alignment redone. Wife took the truck for routine maintenance a couple of months ago to the dealership and they told her it needed an alignment badly. The alignment was originally done by the shop that did my lift originally.

The new alignment shop I took it to was flabbergasted that the dealership set it back to stock settings with the Icon UCA and rest of the lift. It didn’t rub before the dealership had it but was definitely rubbing after. The tech told me it was a mess but he got it fixed. You can tell the difference driving it and it’s clearly correct now.

Added new rock sliders from CaliRaised. Excellent build quality and the bolts can support a wildly substantial amount of weight. Install took a bit longer than anticipated but there’s some excellent YouTube install videos that are helpful for some of the more involved parts of the install. I opted for the kick-out and I’d say the most unexpected benefit was the ability to use the kick-outs to access items on the roof rack or in the central areas of the rooftop tent (instead of opening the door, really helpful on the beach when there’s wind).

Can absolutely feel the added weight of the sliders but it’s sturdy and with the Icons, very smooth ride (apart from the notoriously indecisive transmission haha).

Hope everyone is having a blessed day, cheers!

And i also just added Guild Outfitter’s 400w full time power outlet to my passenger side panel. Frickin love it. Wifes gonna be happy being able to charge her laptop while we’re on roadtrips for her work. Super easy install.
I will note that i had to build a gasket to go between the outlet and the panel as there was a gap even when clipped in, and i also super glued that fucker in place. If i ever have to replace it, getting a new panel is no big deal. I didn’t want it to have any play whatsoever. Overall, two thumbs up

Where is the lift point on the truck when using a high lift to change a tire?

They look good! I had michelins on an old car of mine and really like them I miss them. That extra 1 miles per gallon might entice me to look into another set rather soon cuz let's face it most of the drive and I do like 99.95% of all driving I do is all highway.

No one uses a hi lift for tire changes.
But if you have steel bumper or sliders the lift points are everywhere.

I have it for use as an emergency tool.
Better to have it and not need it, than need it and not have it.
I'd live a happy life if I never have to use it.

Well if I was on the trails and got a flat tire I sure would love to have a high lift. I got the sliders...

I filled up and did the math. It was just over 1mpg over the exact same distance and drive. But what I like is the way it rides. The tires feel softer.
