For PA residents the courses are free. All you need to do is get a learner's permit and sign up. Pass the course and the permit is stamped and the endorsement added to your license. In PA any insurance break for the training only lasts for 3 years.

I do know, not from personal experience, that if you are pulled over or involved in an accident you will get a healthy fine for not having the proper license.

MSF course is $150 and 2.5 days. As long as you don't drop the bike, you should pass. Surprisingly i got the highest score in my class. Brought the card to DMV next day and class M was added to my license. Never looked back

it makes it hard as fuq for me to justify spending $3k on a CRF110 when that 150 is coming, its only $3k base price, its rated at 100mpg and has a 2.8gal tank. Thats insane. 200 mile range on a street legal dual sport from the factory?! I’m sure its a gutless turd but that would be a great commuter

I still want to ride the other two hondas, the 300 and the 450RL

I rode the 250L when it came out and was disgusted with it. Heavier than a DRZ with less than half then power, so slow :anonymous:

I have the 300 Rally. It's a different dog than my DRZ was, but for what it is.......I couldn't be happier. It has suited me very well.

With that said, I'm perfectly fine putting around. The Rally will do interstate speeds, but it's not enjoyable for long stretches. 60-65 is the sweet spot for this bike.

Who’s behind this current version of Buell? And who’s intrigued by any of their advertised models?

Little late to posting this up but got my tank bag installed. At first I thought it was a little big but after installing it, Ithink its going to work out well. And the lock ring around the fuel cap didn't cause it to sit up to high away from the tank, so that's a plus.

And a pic of the new brakes the dealer installed. Free of charge since I had found they were warped on my test ride.

I think the 300 fits a great role as a decent dirt bike but also good on the street and around town in a comfortable fashion. A reliable street motorcycle based motor with actual oil capacity (read this as not super high strung, trying to get every once of power or shed every ounce of weight like the a CRF450R/X Husky/KTM500 etc) and not overly powerful but has enough to do most things well. Always been curious to ride one.

The new lil 150cc dual sport... if I didnt already have a grom, that would be in the garage.... wait, maybe I can consolidate the GF's dirtbike and the grom into one moto! (if only the new lil honda 150cc was fuel injected)

It was one for the books for sure. I am 100% going to go back up to the north coast of california again. The super tenere is just awesome (its a 2015 ES model). SO MUCH GRUNT and its electronic suspension works great.

It really is. I'm past the point of eating up a lot of highway miles and not a speed junkie anymore.

I'm a bit surprised they didn't FI the XR150L. They FI'd the 125cc's, why not the XR

I saw an add for them the other day for their Dyna looking bike which spanwed me to look at their other models, that naked 1190 with port/direct injection is kinda nuts. Hell a long while ago I test rode and almost bought a Buell XB12Scg , the ergos on that bike were AMAZING.... but that hardley motor... nope.

If i was given one of these new Buells, would I ride it. ABSOLUTELY. Would I buy one... HELL NO... with how many times Buell has changed hands parts availability is guaranteed to be nill.
