The kids and wife got a snow day yesterday. We got 4-6” at the house but the school buses couldn’t make their routes so they cancelled school.
Older two spent almost all day out building forts and sledding before it melted.
Definitely not the snow that @Fargo Taco has but more than we usually get.

Needless to say he was done for by 3pm.

Really Good to see Children being outside in these Days.

I guess School bus drivers no longer throw on the Chains.

That was quite common when I was in school

These kids love being outside. My littlest is 2 and loves being outside just wasn’t impressed with the snow.

It was when I was riding the bus as well. We went to school when we had 18” or more and it was no big deal. Guess they were just being lazy.

Finally came through at 9:35pm. I wasn't terribly happy about going out tonight to blow but getting up early tomorrow morning to do it sounds WAY worse.

Last night the temperature was about 10 and not much wind so it wasn't bad out.

    This morning it's -7, feels like -20.

Glad I did it last night!

March 2nd, still using Christmas dishes. I'm just rolling with it.

Got my new Eonon 8 inch display in for my truck, pretty excited to have a touch screen and bluetooth again.

That's the micro management system at my work too. The time for relax, shooting the breeze used to be is now for getting inline to punch in/punch out...

    Cooking Failure??

First I am by no means a Cook I can get by in the woods or hunting camp. Like being at home now!

I had some leftover Egg noodles I put in the Corning ware bowl Some Sausage ( left over) Some Mozzarella cheese sliced and about 1/8 of stick butter.

4 minutes in the Microwave on high.

What I ended up with tasted kinda like Sausage Gravy with slightly under cooked biscuits .

If I had not known I had started with noodles I would never known. Like they broke down to flour and eggs .

Not really Cooking it was something new to me.

It was even better being in the refrigerator over night and reheated with some honey.

    Any ideas or explanations ??

No idea, but I do know I have all of these ingredients and no dinner plans so I gotta try this for myself.

Cooking in a microwave is “different”. The water in the noodles will literally boil, turn to steam, and evaporate. You either have to enclose/seal, or add moisture to accommodate what is lost.
I’m basing this on the noodles being cooked already. If you were stepping that part as well… oh lord.
