I removed some 1” spacers and replaced the struts with 5100’s, don’t see much difference in height (expected it to decrease since the 5100’s are set to 0.66” marker)

I looked up the removed spacers and found an eBay post for 3” leveling kit. The description says

“Note: Front strut spacers are advertised for the lift amount it produces and not the thickness of the spacer.”

So my question is, how does a 1” spacer result in 3” of lift?

So I guess I posted this w/o giving myself time to think about it, and a simple google search gave me the answer :)

In short, it’s due to angle changes to control arms, not offset of strut.

    Not a 1:1 ratio.

    IIRC: 1" puck = 2" level

And looks like these are 1.25” height hence 3” lift

do you happen to know if removing the spacer would require replacing UCA, as I know adding spacer requires a new UCA.

I can’t tell if original owner replaced it when adding the lift just trying to mitigate potential issues or if I can ignore it altogether.

LCA has some slight seizing but otherwise the alignment came out Ok.

Shouldn't, but if you provide a picture of the uca, we can help identify if it's an attendant or factory

the geometry. Let’s say you have a 1.25” spacer. It pushes the strut down 1.25” as well as lifts the truck up 1.25”.

    I never said they were. I know that a 1.25” spacer doesn’t lift your truck 1.25”. You’ll get around 2.5” from a 1.25” spacer.
