Ahh I made a mistake, it was this thread that needs the Ejecto Seato mod. Might cost a little, but you’ll never have problems getting harassed for mods again!

More serious note I’d offer $600 and see what happens. Pretty fair price, about what they usually go for from what I’ve seen.

Hey @Pixeltim, just tell her what a new fiberglass top cost...the soft topper would be a huge savings!

 

I think if I got one it would be for the 6ft bed truck, but the 5 footer.... Wouldn't look bad with one. It's currently got the factory tri fold though and that ain't half bad.

Keeping it deployed helps keep the mold out too.

 

Oh I’ve already gone down that path! In fact, she’s ok with me buying one, but wants me to wait a few months.
I’d rather not wait, having the open bed makes it a pain for transporting some of the flimsy sheet good I use at work, and if the savings is enough, she might be ok with it. We shall see. It will also help bigly if I get a large tax refund! I should find that out tomorrow.

I typically have stuff I order for my workshop delivered to work, she never sees is because she is pretty much banished from being in my woodworking shop
But... The topper would be hard to hide!
