@treyus30 so I'm fairly certain blue is the common, resistance between black and blue was 12.6ohms resistance between brown and blue is 13.0ohms and for poops and giggles the resistance between black and brown is 23.1ohms. Using that watt reading device the power factor is .98 after start up. The watt reader gave amps at ~3.875 and my rms fluke meter says 3.9A

I've never heard of it but I stopped looking once I got mine. I didn't realize anyone besides magnuson was making a supercharger for the 3.4L.

 

Procharger makes one for the 3.4l? I thought they only did for the 3rd gens

Magnuson has that new one coming out this year for the 3.4l, basically a more efficient version of the one that's been out for years now. Thats the only other option I've been aware of

 

Only ProCharger worth actually using was specifically for the SN95 Bullitt due to the better flowing intake manifold compared to the Cobra of that year.

Great power, better handling, and less money than a Termi.

 

They've been out for many decades but they're not as popular because they're limited with their power increase.

You're restricted by the intake manifold on a stock vehicle for starters, plus their small size really makes them more of a toy than anything.

I went through this like 6 months ago, same thing...thought I was screwed and either needed to take it apart and replace the port or buy a new phone. Took it into a local repair shop and the dude shines a light in the charging port, whipped out a pair of tweezers and scraped out a shit ton of dirt and pocket lint. Blast of canned air and it charges like new ever since

I use a little plastic toothpick now once in awhile to clean it out

 

I've seen that. I am not convinced yet that it will actually improve that much over the current one. Time will tell tho. I am sure it will be more expensive.

 

I did a quick search for 'procharger for 3.4l' but only magnuson shit came up.

 

I'd never recommend one for any vehicle really.

I had a Bullitt with one already installed, and one without. So I was able to compare the two.

The Procharger being small and belt driven spools up so quick, but runs out of steam at high rpms unlike a turbo where exhaust gasses continue to build more boost.

Used to run it in autocross and it was nice coming out the apex where I'd leave people behind except Miata's....then I got a Miata myself

 

Is that power factor with the cap on it? And are you connecting anything external to the brown wire, or just the cap? How does the power factor change without the cap?
