    @Gen1TacoLady heres my idea, maybe try torching the walnut...plain far left as you look at the piece, then torch, sand then oil far right. Looks almost ebony. Id go a couple passes till torch highlights the wood grains

    So this is like my 5th time to the mill, I think. Fridays when it snows are apparently the craziest days. Who knew? :facepalm:

    I figured it'd be slower cause people around here don't like going out in the snow, but I guess if you can't work outside, you go to the shop? :notsure:

    I was gonna ask the guy who's been helping me every time what his name is so I feel less rude, but they were too busy! :annoyed:
