I’m looking for someone to install a Harrop e locker on a 2018 SR5 locally. A shop or reputable member.

    thank you.

That’s great to hear. Thank you for the response. I’m getting the ducks in a row to make the SR5 trail ready.

Would you mind sharing what the cost was? Thank you.

EDIT: Forget the cost brother, thank you. It’s a done deal for the rear locker. I’m going to look at one more shop in Ventura, but will be talking to Premier on the way back from today’s roll in Big Bear. Thanks!!!!

They do Group Buys kind of often and I would mention be member of TacomaWorld. I did front and rear with the Harrop locker up front (factory rear E-locker), REM finish gears (no break in required but it will also prevent a claim that gears were not broken in correctly if there is a problem) I also did the 10 year warranty I will be wiring the locker myself. It does come with the needed harness.

Right on, thank you for the intel. It is very very much appreciated.

Is the system independent from Toyota’s safety of having to engage the locker in 4lo, neutral?

Yes, It is a stand alone system. I have not yet wired mine. I regeared do to change in tire size and I am still making other changes and have not yet decided whether I will use the harness provided or have it controlled thru a Switch-Pros.

Since you’re getting your Tacoma to hit the trails, I got sliders if you’re interested, I’m in Ventura. Dm me for questions.

What's crackin' tocayo? Thank you, but my wallet is tapped out with the locker. But many thank you's to Mike from Mike's Custom Toys for helping me get the e locker. Feels awesome just the thought about being locked again.

I tried getting in contact with Coastal Differential Repair in Ventura, but he never got back, so I'm going with the fellas in Riverside. Curios if you have gone there?

I have not done any diff work, thats like a next year type of thing. Yotamasters and sloan motorsports are legit when it comes To gearing and all that stuff. Plan to do a front e-locker next year.

A bunch a cool stickers, a bada ass MetalMiller Tx Longhorns grill emblem painted Hemi Orange, JBA long tube headers with o2 sims, Diff breather mod, Red LED interior lights, Fancy head unit that plays ipod n movies, Also DIY install factory stuff like, factory cruise control, factory intermittent wipers, OME nitro struts with 886x springs and toy tec top plate, JBA high caster UCA's for better alignmnet and dey beefier too, Old Man Emu Dakar leaf springs in da rear with the gear, U bolt flipper, Ivan Stewart TRD rims with 33" K Bro 2's, some bad ass weather tech floor liners so I don't muck up my interior, an ATO shackle flipper for mo travel in da rear wit the gear, also super shiny Fox 2.0 shocks back there too, all sorts of steal armor for bouncing off of the rocks like demello sliders, AP front skid, trans skid, n transfer skid, demello gas tank skid, and a tough as nails ARB bumper with warn 8k winch, I'm sure there's more
FYI, you’ll need to purchase, if you haven’t already, new carrier bearings. The bearings on the 2018 carrier are the wrong size for the Eaton locker. You’ll need the 2 carrier bearings for the previous 8” carrier, TV6B

We do have a group buy going right now for regear. Running for a few months if you decide you want to jump in on it. If not might be running another one in the future if this one goes well

Thank you to all. I have an appointment with Premier later this month. I was hoping to use a member from here, but I didn’t realize he lived near San Diego. That was a deal breaker.

No, as I am not re-gearing. But their price was way better than YotaMasters. By a country mile!
