just got my spindle gussets, uca supports, and secondary shock hoop for my tc long travel system. I'm goona have my friends dad put this stuff on cause he's a great welder/fabricator and knows what he's doing. Had a few q's though to aid in the process. To weld on the spindle gussets, does the entire spindle need to be removed? or is it simpler? Second, to weld on the uca supports, should we just unbolt the uca and thats it? Lastly, when welding the shock hoop to the frame, welding plate to the frame, then the hoop to the plate would be best? Just some thoughts in my head and wanted to get it all straight before we get started. Thanks in advance for any helpful advice!

got this stuff on there two weeks ago, holding tough for now after a little testing in ocotillo. Spindle gussets and uca supports came with some instructions that helped in the installation. However nothing beats having a great fabricator who knows there stuff.

    thanks guys.
Both shocks are gooing to be revalved once i can get ahold of sway a way to get a baseline for shims. Been trying to for about 2 weeks now with no luck. Both shocks are valved to work by themselves so they r way to stiff

where does the second shock bolt to the bottom? did you have to add a spot for it?

ya matt is right, tc lowers come with two mounting tabs on the bottom. The second one on mine was used to mount the limit strap, so we cut a spacer to move it away from the shock and so it wouldn't rub through travel. I would b interested in the steering upgrade, let me know what u want for it, should b getting my tax return sooner rather than later
    thanks,
    Aaron

so the limit strap still uses the same mounting spot, but shares it now with the second shock. thats awesome. doe sthe camburg kit have a second shock mount as well?

cool Matt, just let me know.
StatutoryApe- If u want a pic reference of how we mounted strap and secondary shock let me know. I can take one once i get the secondaries back on but for now valving's too stiff to run them both. We changed the bolt out for a longer grade 8 bolt and longer nut to prevent ne bending.

(I)=I , () r the shock mounting tabs, I's r shock shaft end and strap mount, = is spacer
    something like this
