I'm in Oakley. 1.5 hours to Modesto area or 1 hour to San Jose area. I know there's hayward alignments in the east bay but even then driving 40 minutes to do an alignment seems like a stretch.

Alignment services in Walnut Creek does a pretty good alignment, but the guy is kind of a dick lol also Just Joes in Concord is good they probably have given me my best alignment but was hard to get in and pricey

Alignment Services gave me a full refund a couple years ago after the Firestone down the street was able to do the impossible by adjusting my caster with OEM UCAs.

    SPCs for sure.

For the alignment step one is get alignment cam eliminator plates. Set those yourself at home. Then print out the SPC instruction sheet. Bring that and your rig to the alignment tech. Specifically, tell him he's not to touch the eliminator plates. That forces him to actually read the goddamn instructions and do the alignment via the SPCs.

If he gets it right and it drives well return with a six pack. Hand that to him.

Now you've trained in alignment tech to do the proper alignment with SPC and will never have to wait for an alignment again

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
    My driveway.

Now that I eliminated the alignment cams, and I have the adjustment of the UCAs in the heims/arms. Alignment shops won't do it.

Personal experiences with extreme lift height on 4runner, think I seen you said 4.25" front. SPC you'll need to get close to factory spects, need a tech that really knows how to use the settings, con about them, dont use if your doing extreme off roading, BJ are junk for them and will be replacing frequently if you do.
The others with built in caster on that amount of lift, you'll be lucky to get 1.5 caster.

Thanks for the info. Yes I was surprised to get a total lift of 4.25. The 885 on the lowest perch of 5100 were advertised to gain 2.5”.

Are you sure they're assembled correctly? If the bottom seat perch is inverted you'd be close to 4 in. Just a thought

I've replaced way too many broken SPC UCA's to ever feel comfortable running or recommending them. The adjustability is nice but not worth the risk in my opinion.

Yea I've seen a couple SPC UCA's that are all bent from wheeling. If you like to push your rig off-road, then I wouldn't recommend them personally. but that's just my opinion

Man... I ran SPCs for 5 years. Never had a problem with the bushings or the ball joints... or anything else about them for that matter.

We did some light wheeling trips with them.

Same. You guys have seen what I put my old rig through. Never once have I had a problem with the SPCs. I keep a spare set of SPC upper ball joints in the truck but never needed to use them.
