This is my sixth Tacoma and my third, 3rd gen MGM. The last three I’ve leased and haven’t done much to- besides the cap which has been on all three. I bought this 2023 TRD premium off road with advanced tech package when the lease was up on my 2020 in December. Took a few photos yesterday when I finally got to get the tires off pavement.

Right now, it sits with 860 miles on it. Here’s what I’ve done so far:

    KDM Tuned at 200 miles
    Trail edition wheels
    TRD Pro/trail 1/2 rear blocks
Headstrong 1/4 spaces - driver and passenger side
    Smoked sequential side markers
Bronze & Black TRD Off Road bedside decals
Leer 100XR with Frontrunner slimline rack
AVS Aeroskin matt black hood protector

I’m pretty much done, for now and really love this truck.

Factory lift shocks and struts, Headstrong 3LAAL with optional spacer, 275/70r17 Nokian Outpost ATs, AGP Pro 17x8 et+5 wheels. Have some Maxxis Razr AT 285s on the way for a more aggressive look.

I go back and forth on MGM every day. Wish I could’ve gotten Lunar Rock some days haha.

Swapped the stock Goodyears with Cooper Discoverer AT3s, LT 265/75/16. Small change but makes a big difference.

While I’m not a fan of white letter sidewalls these look good on your truck.

They work better than I expected. I’m not usually a fan either of white letters, but I got them as “blemishes” so they have a stamp on the black wall. Small price for $300 off the set.

I pick up my 23 mgm dclb or Monday or Tuesday! Love the look of yours. Can you give me some details on lift specs and wheel and tire specs? Thanks

so all you have is 1/4” spacer up front and 1/2” block in the rear? What is your tire and wheel size? Looks really good.

Thanks! I wanted something incredibly mild that wouldn’t change the ride of the truck at all. Unpopular opinion, but I think it drives nicely when left alone.

1/4 spacer up front equals 1/2 lift. The rear 1/2 spacer has it sit just a touch higher than stick with the offset of the cap weight.

Factory goodyear wranglers on 16” trail edition wheels.

how do you like the ride with the bilsteins on the 4th notch compared to factory suspension? And what coils did you use?

I used the factory coils. The best way I can sum it up is that with the 5100's I gave up a little softness in ride in exchange for significantly less body roll. Let me put it this way... with no lift at all, I prefer the 5100's due to body roll reduction. I haven't taken the truck off road so I cannot comment on that.
