I wasn't happy with that setup with that bumper, too spongy. Changed to 886/91000 OME. That netted me 4.5". Why I know about problems with getting caster numbers with using preset caster arms. SPC BJ just kept getting to much slop at 20k for me when I used them on extreme trails.

    1. Glad to see you're back, Leonard! It's been a minute.

    2. No complaints with my SPCs yet, but I was looking to order up a spare ball joint last week, and they were not cheap. Over $100 each, IIRC.

Thanks Chris. Work and my schedule was making things difficult to be getting out and about with this crowd. Was mainly a lerking, figured I could give some input from my experiences on above. Been off work for 6 months, thinking if I wanna put myself in retirement.

I’ll take them out and take a closer look. I was excited to get started and didn’t even bother looking.

Thanks for sharing each of your personal experiences with UCA’s. I’ve seen photos of your guys’s trips and rigs, really put things into perspective.

I haven’t been active lately as well, no weekends off with a grave schedule takes away trail time with TW folks.

You don't need to pull them. Just take a photo and post it here.

I’ve seen the same thing where the lift is doubled because the perch is filled upside down. On a different note - got my squeal issue solved. Ended up needing a new drive belt as the old one was stretched out. Think it hasn’t been changed since the last (last) timing belt change. Got my new radio installed too….and sliders come tomorrow!

That looks so superior to the stock head unit. I need to upgrade the wife's 2009. What unit did you end up going with?

will do! I’ve been seeing this all over the 1st Gen sequoia forums and those guys love it. I didn’t upgrade the speakers but I have the upgraded factory speakers and it still sounds great.

so far just messing around with it, it’s a LITTLE slow when sifting through a lot of the menus on the radio itself but I haven’t had any issues with CarPlay with the testing from today.

Take a look at @AccuTune Offroad 's UCA's. I don't have any first hand experience, but they really seem to have done their homework on them and took the best part of the SPC's but made it much more user friendly (I have SPC's FWIW).
