He was saying in FP2 that he couldn't take one of the corners they way he should because of his wrists... super ambitious and respectable to jump back in the car that quick, and we definitely don't know all of the details between the accident and this weekend, but seems like there's more being jeopardized than there is to gain...

Monday I'll make a special cameo guest appearance at my home garage, turn and burn, and "Slip out the back,Jack".
Then 7 weeks of vacation to burn up.
My "official" off-the-books day is May 1st. Hand in my ID,laptop and keys.
Then I'll be "officially" retar...err...retired.
40 year run is a rarity nowadays.

The whole shit show with Alonso going to Aston, and Piastri denying that he signed with Alpine was hilarious.

I retired in June 2019 after 37 years...then I flunked retirement to go back and help my former employer out with a project that I was working on before I retired and I subsequently "retired" again in August 2022...Due to staffing issues (3 people in my old group left), I flunked retirement again to basically go back and do the same job that I originally retired from 4 years ago. As they say, "just like riding a bicycle"...
