Oh great my 4wd isn't working! I came home last night, went to put it in H4 and it started. The 4wd and the 4LO lights are flashing together all the time, even when the selector is in H2 and it will not engage 4wd at all.

Have you tried putting the truck in neutral then switching the 4wd selector?

This crap can go away, and STAY away.

Almost said FK-it, loaded one or 2 of the bikes, and went to Daytona...
But, got scheduled for a few critical jobs this week...

    Oh well.

I need some time off, and the next "vacation" is the Headbangers Boat on Halloween...

Sloppy south of Boston. I got in the truck about 8:00 this morning to go to breakfast. Maybe 2 inches of snow on the ground, but it was turning to rain. Driving was okay. Now it's just cold and windy, but I have nowhere to go anyway.

Another dud of a snow storm.

Over the last week we’ve had probably 12-15inches of heavy stuff, mixed with thick fog and a few days with 35-45mph winds. I’m over it.

ready for the warmer weather for spring skiing, and for the trails to start to thaw for wheelin

I had tried getting it in and out of 4wd a few times last night when it 1st started with no positive results. I figured it may go away after letting it sit overnight but it still was on going to the grocery store this morning. I had tried again even more deliberate coming home but no difference. That's when I wrote the post.
Since then I needed to bring my son to school and it was turned off. I'm back at the school to pick him up and it's still not on! Yeah!!!

I’m a bit SW of Errol on the VT border. I usually head over to Errol/Dixville Notch area early spring for some camping/fishing. Beautiful area!

In other news, the insurance company has determined that the crash was 50+% my fault. My wife wants me to appeal, but the process is a PITA and the hearing officer hardly ever overturns the original decision. As was explained to my by someone who worked in the same building, but for a different agency, the hearing officers mostly worked for insurance companies and know all of the reps from them.

I don't know what the surcharge will be since my last at fault accident was in 1995.

Well, I wouldn't advise to answer this question should you actually want to try to appeal it, and I hope (I'm not trying to be) I don't sound a dick when I ask this.

    Was it 50% your fault?

Crap happens and nobody got hurt and I'm glad for that. If it was any part your fault, sucks but - won't be expensive. No injuries and minor (relatively) damages? Shouldn't be too bad.

Was it legitimately 0% your fault? Challenge it. And if it's a case of both of you being in the same carrier then you might need to float it toward the states insurance boards or whatever they're called.
