A little update on the rattle, I could not for the life of me remove the stripped security screw and broken bolt so I had to take it to the shop. Added 1/2 inch spacers I found in my closet that were originally meant for a tv mount. Put these where the security screws go but since the spacer was too big, the screws were too short and there wasn’t enough thread. Had to swap out the security screws for longer bolts. Oh well. I’m just glad all the rattling is gone.

 

Just installed the covers ,easy installation in driver side a little tricky , not touching the catalytic at all, will see about noise once I drive it , it looks like a new design cause it doesn't go over the criss member is in front now

Did you order from CaliRaisedLED or CaliRaised Offroad?
When did you order and when did you receive the shields?
Is your truck a 4X or 2 wheel drive?

Thanks! It looks great. Has the P for passenger and D for drivers side. Fitment not touching the cat is a huge upgrade. I wonder if they have corrected or changed anything for the four wheel drive.

@CaliRaisedLed is there a design update that you are aware of?

Yeah, that's a huge relief. For sure no issues with rattles for you. Happy it worked out the way it did for you.

 

I haven't drive it or even started the truck,tomorrow I'll check for it on my way to work

My driver side touches but I haven't heard any rattling yet. I'd rather have it touch and not make noise than try to spacer it out far enough to not rattle. Time will tell.

 

Ordered from Caliraisedled on January 31st. Haven't received anything but the initial order confirmation. Have the OEM remote tailgate lock to install and want to do both at the same time while I'm under there. Hope it ships soon!

 

Ordered from them as well (1/30). I inquired yesterday as others have received theirs even though they placed their order after me and here is what they said:

“We apologize for the delay, we had received a huge influx of orders on that item and we are trying to keep up with the demand. The manufacturing team just received our materials for the product and it is getting cut and bent as we speak. They are getting that processed and you should be receiving tracking info in the next few business days.

Thank you for understanding”

 

Good to know. Still doesn't explain why some orders placed after ours are being fulfilled, but... we'll see how it goes. Thanks for posting that!

 

Exactly what I thought as well.

 

I noticed some people on here who ordered after me already received their shields before I even got my tracking number. Anyways, I got my tracking number 41 days after I submitted my order.

 

I received my tracking info today as well. I ordered on January 21st. 44 days after I ordered and should be here on Thursday. So 47 days total after ordering. I think that is what most people have been waiting from the beginning. Some of the guys with two wheel drive are getting theirs sooner from the looks of it.

Just glad to see they are getting them out.

 

I'm looking at mid April for delivery since I ordered the end of February.

 

You should be getting tracking info this week or latest next week. It seems like they ship pretty fast after that and whatever shipping they are using is quick.
