Here’s my 06 300xcw. She’s a bit of a relic, but I love it. Only thing that would make it better is an ez button

The only cool bike that’s done is my 92 K75s. The RZ is a total basket case. Might start as a fall / winter project.

Congratulations, it’s beautiful. The first bike I bought using my paper route money at age 14 was this exact bike. I bought it new in 1976 as a left over in the show room from 1975. It was my second motorcycle but the first one I bought for myself. First one was a 1972 Kawasaki G5 100.

This Yamaha DT250 as soon as I got it home I stripped off all the lights, blinkers and mirrors. I left the speedometer and tachometer on, should have left the headlight as well. I removed the baffle and put a one tooth smaller counter sprocket on it to gear it down some. Then put knobbie tires front and back and ditched the enduro tires.

Super fun bike that I rode for about 5 years until I bought my older brothers 1975 MX400B which was a beast. He bought that one new in ‘75 which was the first monoshock production bike. Talk about wheelies. The perfect wheelie bike for days.

Shortly after this photo I bought a white front fender. Really set it off compared to the stock silver painted plastic one that started to flake about a year into ownership.

At age 15 ^ ripping it up in trout streams and snow. :)

And then the 1975 Yamaha MX400B

Nicely restored or amazingly preserved. Only things I see different are the rear shocks have been replaced and the bars are painted black or different.

One of my older brothers riding buds had a silver 360 back in the day. Your black one is sweet!

Thank you, yes the silver one came right after this one and was the RT-2, so 1972, the silver was actually only in 72

Yes, the shocks are definitely one of the first things I want to replace. I'd love to find a rebuilt pair of stock thermo flows? but will most likely just go with better shocks that look more vintage.

I agree, the only other thing I was going to do to mine but never did was put a pipe on it. But in todays world a bike that vintage it’s best to keep everything as original as possible which looks like yours is. Other than your shocks only the bars are different, either painted black or different. By the shape of them they look original but painted black. :)

My father has a beta 2 stroke, he's been riding in Colorado for years. I've always dreamed of upgrading from my childhood 125 ttr that still runs like a top to this day. Our local dealership had a sale on the 24' model down to $8200 with plates, tax and tabs out the door. Love the 2 strokers, hyped to finally have one! Will be exploring Paul bunyon state Forest my local neck of the woods. I've Ridden ATVs there plenty, excited to try out the supposed renowned single track!
