has anyone on here installed the westcott design lift kit on your truck? it’s a bigger bottom collar circled in red then they also put a 1/4” or 1/2” spacer up top. They claim 3” of lift and no need for replacing needle bearing and they also claim no need for aftermarket UCA’s. Hmmm

I'm currently running it on my 23 TRD Pro and we also have it on my wife's 2022 Trail Edition 4Runner. So far so good. No vibes or issues. I wouldn't be surprised if I have to do the needle bearing down the road but so far I haven't had any symptoms. Banking on waiting and eventually getting ECGS 5.29 assemblies with the new bushing already installed. My Tacoma has the new red anodized UCA's and they clear fine. I do not know the clearance difference of the standard UCAs. The 4Runner has the regular UCA's and there have been no issues.

I wish I did. I love doing the work myself if I have the ability. I just haven't had enough time lately

If you do plan on going with the Westcott kit, I would maybe order just the front and do either an AAL or leaf pack for the rear. I currently have the 1" lift block that Westcott offers but with hardly any weight in the bed it will look lower in the back. I just ordered the Icon RXT leaf pack for the rear. @memario1214 with Hotshot has a great sale right now.

yeah I was gonna order the front only and do either the icon rxt leafs on option 1 for 1.625” of lift or the icon 1.5” 3 leaf add a leaf

Nice, that's my plan. Gonna run the RXT with option 1.

Here’s what my truck looks like currently with the 1” rear block. And I’m running same size tire but with 16” wheel 285/75

those are like the perfect offset. Nice little amount of poke. Looks really good hopefully I can order the lift soon and install it quick. I pick up my mgm dclb or Monday or Tuesday. I’m stoked!

I drove to Westcott all the way from central Texas for them to install their in-house made lift kit on my TRD Pro two weeks ago in mid-February. They did a fantastic job and the truck sits a full 2 inches taller than it did stock. While we were there we got a full tour of the facility and its impressive how they make everything in-house. The owner Jeff is super personable and runs a tight ship — his guys do quality work.

I got to shake the hand of the guy that hand TIG welded my sliders and also observe how they turn a simple puck of aluminum into the suspension upgrade with their robotic lathe.

It was worth saving up last year and the 2400 mile round trip!

very cool! Do you have any before and after pictures of your truck? I thought they claimed to be 3” lift. Did you just get the lower collar and not the 1/2” spacer up top?

It was both, plus I had them install the add-a-leaf in the back since I wanted it to be all suspension. It was a leap of faith being that far from home, but it really drives great afterwards. I like how their kit doesn’t radically alter the personality of the way my truck drives. Driving back to Texas the long way through Flagstaff, the truck drove great on the Interstate and I got to test it out in many different driving conditions all the way back home.

This was the first mod I’ve done to my truck that I had professionally installed because I didn’t want to risk messing with the springs. Plus they did an awesome job aligning my truck afterwards.

Mine is the 3-inch kit too, although I wish they would have done the cool blue tape measurements that they do on their YouTube videos on mine to show before and after. I had them install DOM TIG 20-degree sliders and their suspension kit for the 2021 TRD Pro with an Add-a-leaf.

I’ll upload the picture I took of my truck from right before, and then an after tomorrow. I couldn’t be happier — I really am a fan of Westcott!
